 Cabo Verde national flag,horizontally striped national flag with two wide, unequal stripes of blue framing narrower stripes of white-red-white; a ring of 10 yellow stars is set off-centre toward the hoist. The flag has a width-to-length ratio of 10 to 17.

Story:
The national flag is rectangular and the ratio of length to width is 5:3. Blue flag, in the middle of the lower white, red, white three color bands across the flag; in the middle of the lower left there is a ring composed of ten Venus. Blue symbolizes the sea and sky, white symbolizes hope for peace, and red symbolizes the efforts of the people. The strip symbolizes the way to build the country. The ten five pointed stars symbolize the Cape Verde nation and its unity.
