Bosch Power Tools (China) Co., Ltd. was founded in 1995, headquartered in Hangzhou City, Zhejiang Province. At that time, it was named Hangzhou Bosch Power Tools Co., Ltd. It was a joint venture between Bosch and Hangzhou Steam Turbine Power Group Co., Ltd. as well as China's sales partner meizuoshi (Bremen). In 2003, Bosch purchased the shares of Hangzhou Steam Turbine Power Group, a joint venture partner, and became a wholly foreign-owned enterprise. In December of the same year, the company officially changed its name to Bosch Power Tools (China) Co., Ltd. In order to further improve the production capacity, the new company moved to a new site, which is located in Hangzhou National High tech Industrial Development Zone, on the South Bank of the beautiful Qiantang River. In January 2006, Bosch electric tools (China) Co., Ltd. established its own sales, marketing and after-sales service team.

Today's Bosch Power Tools (China) Co., Ltd. covers an area of 140000 square meters, including three factories of Bosch, century and accessories, as well as the offices of China Marketing Center, Asia Pacific R & D center, Asia Pacific Logistics Center, Asia Pacific product training center, global purchasing center and quality center in Hangzhou. With more than 3800 employees, the company is an important global power tool branch of Bosch group.

In China, Bosch electric tools provides a full range of products, including hammer drill, impact drill, curve saw, electric pick, angle grinder, electric planer and sand grinder, suitable for concrete, woodworking and metal processing industries. Innovative lithium rechargeable tools are also suitable for furniture manufacturers, decoration industry and "do it yourself" people. In addition, Bosch Power Tools sells more than 1000 kinds of BOSCH power tool accessories in China. The company has set up Bosch service centers in Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Shenyang and Wuhan, and has a Bosch after-sales service network covering the whole country to provide Bosch customers with a full range of services.
