China's southern region green power trading pilot launched on the first day of the southern region turnover of 910 million kWh

China Southern Power Grid Company and the State Grid Corporation jointly launched the green power trading pilot on the 7th, the same day the southern region green power trading officially signed. On the day of the transaction, the southern region (Guangdong, Guangxi, Yunnan, Guizhou, Hainan five provinces and regions) a total of 30 market players transacted green power 910 million kWh, of which wind power and photovoltaic were 300 million kWh and 610 million kWh respectively. The transaction price has increased by RMB 0.027/kWh on average on the basis of the existing price of wind power and PV, fully reflecting the environmental value. The transaction covers a period of up to ten years.
