Sinopec Group is a large-scale petrochemical enterprise group, which was reorganized and established by the state on the basis of the former China Petrochemical Corporation in July 1998. It is a state-owned company, a state authorized investment institution and a state holding company. Sinopec, with a registered capital of 182 billion yuan, is headquartered in Beijing.
